Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Machinist/Fabricator to support plant operations through machining, fabrication, equipment repair, and general maintenance. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, designing, and modifying parts and systems to keep production running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press) to create and repair components.
• Perform metal fabrication, welding (MIG, TIG, stick), cutting, and assembly tasks.
• Repair, install, and troubleshoot mechanical systems, production machinery, and facility equipment.
• Design and fabricate custom components, tooling, and safety guards.
• Conduct pipe fitting, torch cutting, and layout work on various materials.
• Support preventive maintenance programs, inspections, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Assist with facility maintenance, including carpentry and basic electrical work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with manual machining, metal fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices; basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Experience with shop equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, band saws, grinders, and hand tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to train others on technical processes.
• Associate degree, technical school, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Physical Requirements

• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors, with exposure to temperature changes, dust, and uneven surfaces.

• Constantly monitor product flow channels throughout the terminal to insure minimal product buildup on and in all equipment, including conveyors, hoppers, elevators.

Position Summary

Provides responsive customer and technical support to customers and end users while assisting the Sales team and other departments with administrative, order-processing, and operational needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, accurate data management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain information in company systems by transferring data from paper documents and other sources using keyboards, scanners, and related data-entry tools.
• Receive and process customer orders, including preparing sales documentation, providing pricing and credit information, and gathering applicable credit references and sales tax details for new and prospective customers.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and management to establish and communicate estimated delivery dates based on production capacity and current delivery schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience performing accurate, high-volume data entry with a typing speed of at least 65 words per minute.
• Familiarity with touch-typing techniques is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, databases, and business management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Comfortable operating standard office equipment, computers, and related hardware and peripheral devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
