Star Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder for a local and growing company!

Summary: Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components. This role involves cutting, welding, positioning, and securing metal materials to build complete structural frameworks according to blueprints, work orders, and Welding Procedure Specifications.

Mon-Thurs 4/10 schedule  6am-5pm
$20-25.00hr D.O.E

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, weld, and cut structural steel components

• Erect and connect steel frames, beams, columns, and girders

• Cut and position steel to reinforce concrete

• Drill holes for bolting and secure structural components

• Operate welding equipment, oxygen/acetylene torches, power tools, and hand tools

• Assist with directing crane operations for material placement

• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions

• Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
   

Work Environment:
Industrial production setting with exposure to loud noise, temperature changes, and moving mechanical parts.
