General Warehouse Associate

Pay: $23/hr
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Warehouse Associate to join a small, close-knit team at an electrical distribution company. The company distributes a variety of specialized products, including semiconductors, wastewater treatment products, and pharmaceutical-related products.

This is a hands-on warehouse position that offers the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the operation. The ideal candidate is a respectful team player who is willing to be cross-trained, takes initiative, and is comfortable working in a smaller team environment.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse cleanup and organization
• Re-shelving and organizing inventory
• Re-stacking products and maintaining an orderly warehouse
• Palletizing materials and preparing products for shipment
• Printing and preparing UPS shipping labels
• Handling e-waste and other warehouse materials
• Moving and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed
• Learning and supporting different areas of the operation through cross-training
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Inventory 

No machine operation is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable learning new systems and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Team-oriented and willing to be cross-trained
• Respectful and professional workplace attitude
• Able to work independently while also contributing to a small team
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required
