Star Staffing is seeking an experienced, hands-on Distribution Warehouse Manager for a well-established, building materials company in the Central Valley.

Monday- Friday (some overtime as needed)

The perfect candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Min 5 years of warehouse distribution management experience
• Experience with Inbound and Outbound shipments
• Self starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities that promote a positive work environment and boost employee morale
• Freight Management- working closely with carriers for best shipping options and quotes
• Expert with LTL Freight
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Proficient with Excel and Word
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train and mentor warehouse employees
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal staff
• Provide hands-on daily support to team
• Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving work flow
• Manager inventory
• Conduct monthly safety meetings
• Manager all building maintenance requirements
