Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Department: Logistics
Summary: Under the direction of Manager/Supervisor, is responsible for accurate builds of outbound orders and inventory accuracy by picking and selecting inventory for customer orders. Also is responsible for general warehouse duties as it pertains to efficient operations of a warehouse.
-3+ years Forklift Experience
• Currently or recently forklift certified.
• Experience in loading, unloading, and inspecting truck and trailer quality.
• Familiar with GMP (good manufacturing practices) and Food Safety compliance • Basic knowledge of computer program and applications
• Experience with using handheld scanning devices and / or WMS tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Uses WMS RF guns to Pick orders accurately for correct fulfillment.
• Responsible for properly completing all shipping paperwork accurately.
• Picks up pallets of case goods, supplies, etc. and transports them. WMS bin movements where applicable.
• Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area, including following written procedures for safe handling and use of chemical compounds.
• Performs routine Quality Assurance checks, including inspecting all trucks for sanitation and safety purposes and records as necessary
• Stacks and/or unstacks pallets or bins.
• Loads and unloads trucks as necessary.
• Operates forklift.
• Forklift certified.
• Plans, stages, calculates, and loads vans, trucks, and containers or other vehicles for transporting packed stock.
• Responsible for properly completing all shipping paperwork accurately.
• Performs routine Quality Assurance checks, including inspecting all trucks for sanitation and safety purposes and records as necessary.
• Picks up pallets of case goods, supplies, etc. and transports them. WMS bin movements where applicable
• Maintains fuel, oil and water supply in forklift. Completes daily checklist as required.
• Provides relief for personnel as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area, including following written procedures for safe handling and use of chemical compounds.
• Must be familiar with safe machine operations where machinery must be cleaned while running and follow lock out procedures.
• Works closely with management and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient operations. • Must be able to work regularly scheduled overtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
