Job Description
Position Overview: Vineyard Mechanic –Direct Hire
Philo, CA
- Pay range: $35–$45/hour
- Travel: Required between three vineyard locations (within 10–15 miles of each other) & pick up/Deliver parts
- Key responsibilities: Mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment including tractors, excavators, and other heavy machinery
- Experience needed:
- Strong hands-on mechanical background (John Deere and similar brands preferred)
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise
- Preventive Maintenance and repairs
- Outdoor work readiness
- Other experience shared on job description
- Additional details:
- Position has been open for some time; Management Connections has also been assisting
- Remote location is a known challenge in recruiting
- On-site housing available (small unit suitable for an individual or couple)
- Benefits and stable schedule (8:00–9:00 AM start, 8-hour days)
- Flexibility required during harvest (Aug–Sept) for extended hours/weekends
