Star Staffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity located in San Joaquin County.
Pay: $28.00-$37.00 hr
Facilities Maintenance Technician - performs and oversees all general maintenance duties to all warehouse buildings, equipment and rolling stock, as directed by the Facilities Manager. The position requires general maintenance skills and competencies in mechanical, pneumatics, instrumentational and welding work. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the terminal and all equipment in a safe and efficient working manner as well as set up and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, daily, weekly and monthly.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and general maintenance procedures
- Develop and implement a proactive preventive maintenance program
- Constantly monitor product flow channels throughout the terminal to insure minimal product buildup on and in all equipment, including conveyors, hoppers, elevators.
- Participate in all mandated safety training and exercises.
- Train colleagues in maintenance duties; become proficient in the operation of warehouse pay-loaders.
- Develop a good understanding of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain stock and all other warehouse equipment in a clean, safe and efficient manner at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
- Welding Experience
- Electrical Experience with high and low voltage
- Strong mechanical / instrumentation skills, being familiar with conveyor systems and hydraulic pneumatic systems
- Knowledgeable in various computer software programs to include MS Office Suite
- Repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
