Santa Rosa, CA
Shift:  8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Plus overtime opportunities)
$20 per hour


Well-known pharmaceutical company in Santa Rosa, CA, is looking to expand their team of Shipping Associates. Join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will play a key role in coordinating the processing and shipment of both domestic and international orders.


The Shipping Associate will be responsible for processing and managing both USA and international orders, ensuring timely and accurate shipments. This position will involve data entry, order coordination, and communication with internal teams and freight forwarders. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic individual with the ability to identify issues before they arise and work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders from international customers and international warehouses.
  • Coordinate the shipment of international orders, including handling freight forwarders.
  • Request shipping quotes and arrange container shipments with freight forwarders.
  • Ensure all international orders are properly prepared for shipping, including applying specialty labels and verifying order accuracy.
  • Follow specific guidelines as required by international customers to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and complete necessary documents for international shipments.
  • Maintain organized customer files and shipping records.
  • Maintain effective communication with production, shipping teams, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Assist with the backup of domestic (USA) shipping operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification Requirements (Experience, Training, Skills, Education):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in processing orders and data entry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to foresee potential issues.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting, bending, and light lifting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
