Temecula, CA
We are looking for an experienced Senior Drafter on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled drafter to take on a crucial role within an innovative and growing company that has been recognized for delivering high-quality projects.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm
Compensation: $62,500 to $72,800 DOE
What will you do as a Senior Drafter:
Provide support to the design process through preparation of complete, accurate working plans, charts, and scale drawings for complex projects, integrating skilled architectural/engineering drafting methods and procedures using AutoCAD and Bluebeam software. Collaborate with the engineering team.

Senior Drafter Top responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor junior drafters, providing guidance on best practices and drafting techniques.
- Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Create, manage and or maintain systems
- Create detailed CAD working plans, charts and scale drawings for complex projects and conceptual designs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings.
- Utilize and apply redline procedures adhering to company policies.
- Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate and update project managers to align drawings with project timelines and objectives.
Senior Drafter Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Senior/Lead Drafter and 4-5 years of experience as a Drafter
- Associate’s Degree in Drafting or higher education
- Must have a mentorship mindset
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Must be Decisive and Self-starter
- Must have Integrity and Accountability
- EXPERT user of AutoCAD
- Bluebeam experience preferred
