What you will do:
The Inside Sales Representative will research prospective client’s, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, manage campaigns, and successfully position Star Staffing’s value proposition.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business.

Top Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing team to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through cold-calls, emails, social media, and campaigning
  • Schedule and conduct marketing assessments and discovery meetings to further assess a prospect’s business and potential for partner with Star
  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects
  • Help small, mid-size, and large companies realize the potential of a strategic staffing partner.
  • Develop strategy for penetrating and developing sales in light industrial, manufacturing, and clerical sectors
  • Manage email campaigns: planning, creating and organizing; building, testing and deploying email campaigns, analyzing and reporting results
  • Monitor email campaigns to ensure complete, successful delivery of campaigns
  • Review and analyze campaign performance and develop actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Continually gather feedback on and pilot new approaches to improve programs
  • Document all activity in real-time into CRM
  • Close business deals in line with quarterly quota goals
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned


  • Track record of high achievement
  • Previous experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • comfortable with cold-calling and prospecting
  • Experience working in a sales CRM and successfully launching email campaigns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Technical aptitude to master our sales tools
