Our Client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join the team. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. This role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement and the ability to lead quality initiatives across our operations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm
Compensation: $70-85k annually
What will you do as a Quality Assurance Supervisor:
Identify deviations and potential hazards and use corrective actions and initiate QA Hold practices to address findings and non-compliance issues. Work closely with the team to ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Quality Assurance Supervisor Top responsibilities:
- Conduct companywide Internal Audits against companywide guidelines, procedures, programs, and processes.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Analyze process reports and troubleshoot problems to correct quality issues.
- Follow and enforce all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies.
- Oversee the QA team and daily operations to ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP and certification standards.
- Stay up to date with changes in food safety regulations and communicate these changes to team.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the facility.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement crisis management programs and recall plans in case of product safety issues.
Quality Assurance Supervisor Skills and requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in QA within a manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage or non-durable products.
- HACCP certification - required
- Previous experience working/implementing Quality Systems or working in certifications.
- Strong communication skills and strong attention to detail
