Job Title: Purchasing Manager
Location: Santa Rosa, CA (On-site)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

Overview:
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and supply chain operations. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage large-scale purchasing portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to support production schedules.

• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase tracking systems.

• Communicate with design and graphics teams to ensure artwork is provided to vendors on time.

• Assist in developing material specifications and sourcing new suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and transport costs for both domestic and international shipments.

• Ensure vendor compliance with quality and confidentiality requirements.

• Manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory to reduce waste.

• Support physical inventory counts and address discrepancies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing setting.

• Proven experience managing purchasing portfolios of $50MM+ annually.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Strong understanding of procurement practices, market pricing, and vendor negotiation.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to commute to Santa Rosa, CA.

• Must be able to work on-site.
