Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support and streamline manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. This role is essential in ensuring production goals are met on time while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in scheduling, process coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage daily production schedules based on forecasts and operational goals

  • Track production performance and ensure adherence to timelines, safety, and quality standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow conflicts

  • Partner with quality and compliance teams to meet internal and external regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including productivity and quality control documentation

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of production and QC processes

  • Provide timely reports and updates to management, identifying key metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Prior experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food production preferred

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and ISO standards

  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate teams and work cross-functionally

  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Proficient in data tracking, reporting, and production planning tools
