Temporary position for up to 6 months

Compensation: 30.00 per hour
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing procurement processes, maintaining communication with vendors, RFP management and handling purchasing tasks. Within this role the Procurement Coordinator must have awesome customer service skills with the ability to source new leads and to sell / service both new and existing clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintains supplier registry, supplier onboarding and administration.
- Sets up new materials and maintains data related to plants, storage locations, quality management, MRP, and batch management to ensure the integrity of SAP procurement, logistics and demand planning.
- Skills in creating RFP's, obtaining bids, and presenting quotes.
- Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for outside services, such as R & M, operating supplies, uniform dues, gas and oil, company licenses and other
services as well.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of corporate procurement experience
- In lieu of a procurement background, candidates with a history of cold calling, project management, sales, and buying would be comparable
- Knowledge of E-Suite (e-procurement, e-auctions, e-sourcing, e-catalog's)
- Reviews daily material requirements in MRP and issue purchase orders for assigned material groups
Minimum level of education required
- High School Degree
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.)
- Supply chain or procurement support experience in CPG industry
- MS suite: excel, word, and PP
- SAP / Ariba
