We’re looking to hire 10 experienced Prep Cooks for a high-volume plated dinner event for 600 guests on Saturday, June 6th, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Rohnert Park, CA.

Pay: $28/hour
Event Type: Sit-down, plated service

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of prep cook experience in a professional kitchen

• Must own a chef coat and prep knives (strongly preferred)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques

• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certified a must)

• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions closely

Responsibilities:

• Prepping ingredients (chopping, slicing, portioning) according to set recipes and menus

• Assisting with setup and organization of prep stations

• Ensuring quality and consistency of prepared items

• Supporting chefs and line cooks as needed during service

• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment throughout the shift

• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
