Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversees HR/Payroll activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, payroll approval, benefits support, employee relations and development, compliance
  • Participates in financial matters of carrier including P&L analysis, insurance renewals and claims management, equipment reviews, payroll submission, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Manage all contractor agreements.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all Information Technology inquiries and issues for the Company.
  • Approve invoices for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Oversee the claims process.
  • Perform regular employee evaluations to determine areas of improvement.
  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Make sure that the company has sufficient resources such as personnel, material, and equipment.
  • Manage the expense reimbursement process.
  • Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.
  • Maintain and audit financial records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee all legal correspondence pertaining to the company.
  • Ensure all company activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business management or other related fields.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a management position.  Previous experience with a startup business is a plus.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems.
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
  • Previous experience in areas of HR and Accounting are a plus.
