Seasonal Material Handler
Sacramento, CA
Schedule 5 working days to support 7 day coverage with mandatory OT.
Shift is 5:00am -1:30pm Overtime is mandatory
Compensation: $21.70
We are seeking a physically fit Material Handler to manage inventory relocation in our tool crib. You will pull heavy parts, secure them on pallets, and safely transport them across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull inventory: Locate and remove heavy machinery parts from storage racks.
- Palletize items: Stack, wrap, and secure parts safely onto pallets for transport.
- Relocate stock: Move loaded pallets to designated facility zones using hand trucks or jacks.
- Maintain logs: Record moved inventory to keep tool crib data accurate.
- Ensure safety: Follow all lifting protocols to maintain a hazard-free work area.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and twist repeatedly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse heavy lifting.
- Experience with pallet jacks and wrapping tools.
- Strong attention to safety protocols.
