Marketing Coordinator- Hybrid
Location: Petaluma, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum three days onsite
Salary: $70,304 to $78,000 annually, depending on experience
We are seeking an organized and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support consumer engagement, marketing programs, events, and administrative operations for a mission-driven food and consumer products company.
This position is ideal for someone with food or consumer packaged goods experience who enjoys interacting with customers, coordinating events, managing detailed projects, and supporting a collaborative sales and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to consumer and business inquiries by phone and in writing.
- Record customer feedback, questions, and product complaints accurately in Salesforce.
- Create Salesforce reports and prepare quarterly consumer service reports.
- Identify consumer trends and share relevant information with internal departments.
- Partner with Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sustainability teams to address product questions and complaints.
- Maintain organized and current customer response templates.
- Prepare and ship product samples, influencer packages, broker materials, and trade show supplies.
- Maintain inventory of marketing materials, signage, merchandise, coupons, and sales materials.
- Track coupon performance and prepare redemption reports.
- Coordinate product donations and sponsorship requests within an approved budget.
- Maintain digital marketing and packaging assets across multiple platforms.
- Coordinate trade shows, conferences, community events, demonstrations, and sampling programs.
- Manage event vendors, shipping, registration, scheduling, supplies, and expense tracking.
- Provide occasional backup support for the Order Desk, Office Administrator, and Farmers Market.
- Assist with additional marketing and administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications

- Two to four years of experience in marketing, customer service, administration, or a related role.
- Food or consumer packaged goods experience is required.
- At least intermediate Salesforce experience is required.
- Experience working directly with consumers and handling customer questions or concerns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Experience coordinating events, vendors, shipments, or marketing materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Must be available to work onsite in Petaluma at least three days per week and up to five days when needed.
- Must be flexible to occasionally cover non-marketing administrative duties and Farmers Market shifts.
- Must be available for occasional schedule adjustments and approximately 15 percent local travel.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally enter manufacturing environments with varying temperatures.
- Local candidates only. Relocation assistance is not available.
