Job Description
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic (Part-Time)
LOCATION: Petaluma, CA
SCHEDULE: 3 days a week, day shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm)
PAY: $25-$28 D.O.E
To assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and fabricating plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment and support production efforts.

To assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and fabricating plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment and support production efforts.
OBJECTIVES:
- Minimize downtime of production equipment.
- Support Operations in producing products.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
- Troubleshoot and maintain plant systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.
- Utilize shop tools and equipment effectively.
- Implement basic preventive and general maintenance.
- Follow safety guidelines including lockout procedures and PPE usage.
- Record and update maintenance records accurately.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to shop etiquette.
- Keep shop tools and equipment clean and organized.
- Attend work group meetings as required.
- Adhere to hygiene guidelines in production areas.
- Report equipment, plant problems, and food safety issues promptly to Facilities Manager.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using mechanical reference guides.
- Competence with hand tools, shop equipment, and specialty tools.
- Basic understanding of safety practices around production equipment.
- Capability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong communication and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to work overtime hours as needed.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair equipment.
