Star Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Facilities Manager

Location: Petaluma, CA
M-F, day shift with flexibility to support a 24/5 operation as needed
Direct Hire Role | $110,000–$130,000

A well-established food manufacturing company in Sonoma County is seeking a Maintenance Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations across a high-volume production environment.

This role oversees multi-shift maintenance teams, ensures equipment reliability, and manages facility systems in a 24/5 operation. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in industrial maintenance, along with a hands-on understanding of food manufacturing environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop maintenance technicians across multiple shifts
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
• Ensure uptime of production equipment including mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging lines
• Manage CMMS system, work orders, spare parts, and maintenance reporting
• Oversee facility systems including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FDA, and safety regulations
• Partner with QA and Operations on food safety and audit readiness
• Manage maintenance budgets, vendors, and capital projects
• Drive continuous improvement, reliability initiatives, and cost-saving project

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing or food production
• Experience managing multi-shift teams in a 24/5 or 24/7 environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulics, and automation knowledge
• Experience with CMMS systems required
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA compliance
• Proven experience managing budgets and capital projects
