Manufacturing Technician

Our client is looking for someone that can work as a glass machine operator, learn functions in areas of cutting, tempering, edging, and other fabrication. This is a great opportunity to expand your experience and grow within the company. 

Individuals selected for this position must be reliable and possess a good work ethic. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, work standing up for extended periods of time. 

Compensation: $19.50

Schedule: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday

You’re good at:

• Assist with unloading glass from seaming line, sorting and handling glass products
• Responsible for start-up and shut down of equipment
• Makes sure the workstation is clean and free of debris and cleans Equipment as needed
• Responsible for routinely checking products, check for defects such as scratches, haze, chips and that dimensions are correct. 
• Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards
• Sorts product onto specified racks
• Adheres to all safety guidelines on factory floor
• Reports issues or problems with products to the immediate supervisor

Extra awesome:

• One year of previous experience in Manufacturing or Production facility
• Ability to follow instructions and willing to learn.
• Ability to possess good hand-eye coordination, and be details oriented
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to read/measure with a tape measure
• Quality and Safety conscious person.
• Must have reliable transportation, be punctual and maintain good attendance.
