Machine Operator – Fairfield, California
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM (4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts)
Shift: Day Shift

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to support operations in the Screwcap Shop. This role is responsible for operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment while producing wine capsules that meet company specifications.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor assigned machine to ensure proper performance and product quality

Follow capsule boxing SOPs, quality procedures, and safety guidelines

Box finished capsules according to specifications

Perform side work and assist with additional production tasks as needed

Maintain cleanliness of work area and support overall shop organization

Assist other machine operators and team members to ensure smooth production flow

Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and safety expectations

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude

Motivated, reliable, and able to work in a team environment

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Willingness to rotate shifts or work additional hours as needed

Must successfully complete safety, QA, and SOP training (100% pass on probationary test)

Work Environment:

Exposure to fumes and loud noise levels

Concrete work surfaces

Physically demanding role including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
