Junior Project Manager – Commercial Electric

Livermore, CA

We are in search of a Junior Project Manager for our Livermore location. Our client has been in business for close to one hundred years and is a premier employer in the East Bay.  As a Junior Project Manager you will manage the prep and execution of smaller electrical construction projects. You will be supported by senior staff in this entry level position to grow your knowledge and apply your education/skills to the role. 

Ideal schedule: Monday- Friday 7am to 4 pm (onsite)

What you will do:

Manage preparation and execution of commercial electric projects. You will manage meetings, develop budget, and maintain communication with stakeholders. 

 Top responsibilities:

• Organize and manage pre-construction meetings
• Develop project budget and project schedule of values
• Manage cash flow
• Deliver profit margin that exceeds project estimate
• Communicate with all stakeholders continuously throughout process
• Optimize Change Orders and Buyouts
• Submittals, RFIs. Transmittals and change requests
• Complete project close out 

Skills and requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, construction management or a minimum of 3+ years of Junior PM experience.  
• Thorough understanding of electrical construction, contracts, and terminology.
• Knowledgeable in Procore, Microsoft Project and Blue Beam a huge plus
• MS Office Suite 

Compensation: $67,000-81,000 DOE plus bonuses
