Star Staffing is seeking a skilled 16k capacity Industrial Forklift Operator for an innovative leader in metal fabrication. This position plays a key role in keeping our yard organized and ensuring materials move efficiently throughout our facility. 

$21-$24 hr
4/10 schedule Mon-Thurs with mandatory overtime
5am-3:30pm


Primary Responsibilities

• Transport, arrange, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Review shipping and receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Load outgoing trucks and receive incoming deliveries using forklifts, hand trucks, and other material?handling equipment.
• Move heavy and oversized items safely within the yard or to designated work areas.
• Rotate, reposition, or flip materials as required for processing.
• Keep documentation updated, including inventory logs and shipment records.
• Follow all company safety standards and operating procedures.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous industrial size forklift experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must be able to obtain forklift certification through Davison Iron.
• Experience in warehouse or material?handling environments preferred.
• Ability to safely manage large structural material up to 60 feet long and weighing several thousand pounds.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights of approximately 3–4 feet while loading or staging materials.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a busy yard environment.
• Reliable communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Safety?focused mindset and a commitment to maintaining an orderly workspace.
