Job Summary:
Reporting to the District Human Resources Manager, the HR Business Partner will oversee all HR activities for designated facilities and manage special projects. The HR Business Partner utilizes expertise in recruitment and retention, as well as employee relations strategies, applying a thorough understanding of Human Resources policies, procedures, and federal and state employment laws.
Schedule M-F 8 am to 5 pm
Pay: $80-95k DOE
Essential Functions
• Demonstrates proficiency in HR practices, guidelines, and regulations to monitor and offer guidance on compliance with employment laws, regulations, and our clients' policies, procedures, and processes.
• Responsible for Employee Relations. Offers advice/recommendations to management and addresses employee inquiries.
• Knowledgeable in HRIS system ADP preferred
• Manages Workers Compensation claims and process
• Manages LOA requests
• Manages Benefits and Open Enrollment
• Handles all workplace investigations
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees.
• Proactive problem-solving ability, using sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop efficient solutions.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of two (2) years as a HR Business Partner
HR Certifications highly desired (SHRM or PHR)
Required Skills
- Must have experience with ADP
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite - Excel
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
