Pay Range: $19.52 - $27.80 per hour
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for accurately reviewing, auditing, and entering new hire information into the UKG Pro system while maintaining up-to-date, organized, and confidential employee files. In addition, this role provides essential projects and administrative support to the Human Resources team and helps maintain various HR processes and programs.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Review, audit, and enter new hire information into UKG Pro, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Resolve audit exceptions by collaborating with relevant business contacts.
- Manage and maintain the DMV database for employees, including license expiration follow-ups and resolving DMV-related issues with managers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and ensure the timely filing of documents related to HR and Payroll.
- Monitor the pre-employment program and notify Office Managers of pass/fail results. Follow up with clinics regarding results when necessary.
- Process and code pre-employment invoices.
- Assist with processing and preparing employee terminations.
- Respond to EDD inquiries promptly and with accurate information.
- Monitor and respond to HR department emails and phone calls as part of a team.
- Run, sort, and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
- Create, copy, scan, and organize documents as required.
- Create new hire and termination files.
- Maintain and organize both paper and electronic filing systems.
- Prepare and track outgoing mail and packages.
- Provide backup support for ordering and distributing office supplies.
- Serve as a backup for conducting new hire onboarding processes.
- Provide administrative support for HR-related projects as needed.
- 2+ years of office experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and projects simultaneously.
- proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Sound judgment with the ability to make timely and informed decisions.
- Frequent use of phone and written communication skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and arms for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
