HR Administrator
Salida, CA | $25–$27/hr DOE | 6-Month Assignment
We are seeking an HR Administrator to join our team and provide vital support in a food manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:

Monday–Friday, rotating start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM

Flexibility may be required to support multiple shifts depending on business needs

What You’ll Do:
-
Serve as the first point of contact for employees, answering HR-related inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll, and leave
-
Greet and assist employees, contractors, and visitors at the front desk in a professional and welcoming manner

Maintain and track attendance records, leaves of absence, and FMLA coding; escalate discrepancies as needed

Process and file HR documentation including personnel files, corrective actions, EDD forms, and leave paperwork

Support HR programs such as onboarding, orientation, training, and employee engagement activities
-
Assist with scheduling employee meetings, interviews, site tours, and HR events
-
Generate reports and provide data entry support in HR systems (Workday, UKG, SAP, or equivalent)

Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR and legal standards
-
Provide general administrative support including scanning, copying, filing, and preparing HR communications

Partner with site leadership to identify and communicate employee needs or trends
Skills & Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred

1–3 years of HR or administrative experience; manufacturing/plant environment experience is a plus

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience (Workday, UKG, SAP, etc.) preferred

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

Onsite at a manufacturing facility

Frequent interaction with employees across multiple shifts and departments
