Star Staffing is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the company's accounting operations.. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently while partnering closely with ownership and the company's CPA.

 Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Collaborate with the company's CPA to ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and year-end reporting.
• Process payroll, including certified payroll reporting and payroll tax filings.
• Coordinate preliminary notices, lien waivers, and lien release documentation.
• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, deposits, and customer account maintenance.
• Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, approvals, payment preparation, and vendor record maintenance.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
• Set up new jobs, maintain job costing records, monitor project costs, and prepare work-in-progress (WIP) schedules.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and reconcile company credit lines, equipment financing, and vehicle loan accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and provide the owner with regular updates on the company's financial performance and cash flow.
