Clamp Forklift Operator (REQUIRED)

Star Staffing has partnered with a great company for a temporary opportunity for an experienced Clamp Forklift Operator. This role requires hands-on, recent experience operating a clamp attachment—this is not a general forklift position.
In this role, you will support warehouse operations including container unloading, pallet breakdown, and material handling using clamp and slip-sheet attachments. You will also assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Must be flexible for overtime and occasional weekends
Pay:
$21/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a clamp forklift attachment (required) for unloading containers and handling product
- Use slip-sheet (push/pull) attachments as needed
- Perform order pulling, loading, receiving, and putaways
- Assist with inbound/outbound shipment processing
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent clamp forklift experience
- Experience with slip-sheet (push/pull) attachments strongly preferred
- Experience unloading containers and breaking down pallets using clamp equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with sit-down, reach truck, or other forklift equipment a plus
- Familiar with ERP, WMS, and RF scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and work on your feet
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass MVR
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Reliable attendance is a must
