Field Service Technician
Greater Modesto, CA

Field Service Technicians go out to client sites mostly in the San Joaquin/Sacramento Valley to assist with new start-ups, preventative maintenance, customer support of automated sorting machines. Field Service Technicians also travel to other Western states about 15-20% of the time with overnight stays.
Top responsibilities:
Schedule is Monday – Friday 7am-5pm with every other Friday off. From July through September, they will work every Friday and will earn Overtime.
Pay Rate is between $25 and $33 per hour DOE

Field Service Technicians go out to client sites mostly in the San Joaquin/Sacramento Valley to assist with new start-ups, preventative maintenance, customer support of automated sorting machines. Field Service Technicians also travel to other Western states about 15-20% of the time with overnight stays.
Top responsibilities:
- Field Service Technicians must be able to troubleshoot issues with electrical power circuits as well as digital and analog circuits.
- Testing of new equipment installs
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person.
- Troubleshooting and testing electrical system in industrial machinery or have college/vocational training in electronic-based curriculum.
- Reading schematics and using test equipment such as voltmeters.
- Communicating with customers in person, via email or over the phone.
- Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record is required.
