Estimator - Commercial Construction
Stockton, CA
Onsite position

We are searching for an experienced Estimator for a local commercial construction company. The Estimator will oversee preconstruction tasks working closely with new and existing clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors. You will need to be up for a challenge, willing to learn and have a high degree of adaptability.

Estimator’s Top responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders and providing continuous communication with a sense of urgency
Create and prepare the project in database
Responsible for 150+ projects annually
Review specs and plans to determine scope of project and determine requirements for the project and to ensure ability to follow through with bid and meet deadlines
Experienced in forecasting, bid management, ensuring cost effective pricing and quality of subcontractors/vendors
Job site visits represents company that operates with integrity and quality of work
Through documentation and seamless hand off to project manager.
Cost Analysis to ensure how accurate bid was to cost

Estimator’s Skills and requirements:

3+ years experience as an Estimator in a commercial construction
Accounting and or Cost Analysis experience
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management a plus
Superb Interpersonal Skills, proactive, inquisitive, and self- directed
Proficiency in various software's and systems including Must be proficient in MS Office/Project/Outlook, Dropbox, Procore and Building Connected
Valid Driver’s License

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (onsite)

Compensation:
$100,000 salary
