Estate Host (Wine Educator)

What you’ll do: 

• Each host/educator will manage their own assigned experiences and reach out to confirm booking details with guests
• Prepare any materials needed for tastings including plates, wines, glasses for tours, etc. 
• Upon guest arrival, greet all guests by name. Know beforehand what the guest profile is: member, non-member, returning guest, industry, etc.
• Pour bubbles and create a positive welcome experience.
• Present the winery brand message, entertain every guest in a knowledgeable and approachable style and respond to guest questions as appropriate.
• Solicit contact information from each guest, convert guests to one of our membership programs when possible, and strive to ensure that every guest has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will leave with a high regard for our hospitality.

• Take initiative for self-development to understand our wines, our brand, general hospitality and to provide effective sales techniques and acumen.
• Participate in company-sponsored wine education and development opportunities.
• Demonstrate necessary time management and communication skills
• Possess service-oriented intuition to anticipate guests wants and needs
• Be adaptive and accommodating.
• Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of the Estate House when needed.
• Obtain food handler license and ABC Safe Serve Certification required (company paid)

• High School Diploma
• 21+ years of age
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a hospitality and/or service position.

Schedule:

• Part time - full time in person from 9:30 am to 5 pm
