Location: Rio Linda, CA
Our client is seeking a customer service representative for their Scale House position. The Scale House Attendant will be responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, collecting fees, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the scale house.
Position Type: Temporary (5 months)
Compensation: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (must be available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Collect fees and process transactions
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure the safe operation of the scale house
- Handle multiple phone lines and respond to customer and field sales requests
- Assist with office inventory management
- Support drivers at the scale house
- Assist the sales team and office management with various tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage customer and field sales requests
- Experience with office inventory management
- Knowledge of AR/AP is a plus
- 1+ year of scale house experience (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
