Cost Accountant

We are in search of an extremely detailed Cost Accountant for an established business in Saint Helena. Our ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative work culture.

Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F
Time: 8:00am-5:00pm or M-Th 9 hour days and half day Fri
Pay: $90k-$105k DOE

What you’ll do:

The Cost Accountant will report directly to the Director of Finance. Cost accounting and general accounting responsibilities.  

Top responsibilities:

• Complete General Accounting tasks such as Month End reporting, Cost Variances, Budgeting, Storage Costs and Reconciliations and Financial Analysis
• Review and Propose Standard Cost Changes 
• Journal Entries 
• Analysis of Inventory and accounting support 
• All other duties assigned

You’re good at:

• • BS in Accounting
  • 5+ Years of Accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AMS systems
  • Knowledgeable in GAAP
  • MBA, CPA, CMA plus
