We are seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to support healthcare construction, renovation, retrofit, maintenance, and repair projects. This position works under direction from supervisors to complete a variety of construction tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and project standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with construction, remodeling, and repairs involving wood, metal, drywall, concrete, brick, and other materials.
• Install and repair cabinets, shelving, partitions, flooring, doors, windows, ceiling components, molding, and modular furnishings.
• Install, patch, and finish drywall and gypsum board.
• Install and move wall-mounted equipment, furnishings, and other jobsite materials.
• Measure, lay out, level, and verify work for accuracy and proper installation.
• Select and safely use appropriate materials, hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Perform basic fastening and assembly using nails, screws, staples, adhesives, and other methods.
• Work safely from ladders and around active construction areas.
• Maintain, clean, and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Follow supervisor instructions, project specifications, safety procedures, and applicable building codes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Construction or carpentry experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, handling tools/materials, and working in an active construction environment. Must be able to work on ladders and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Adequate close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
