We are in search of an Experienced Chef/ Cook associate for winery in Yountville.

What will you do: We are looking for a Seasonal 3-6 months (with potential to extend or hire – pending performance) starting February . We are looking for eager, enthusiastic candidates that are passionate about hospitality. The assignment will be to support our day-to-day food prep, cooking and plating and all culinary experiences. That said please find below a few minimum requirements.

2-3 years’ experience in the kitchen ideally winery setting, or high-end restaurant, hospitality industry.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws dealing with the food handlers training.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Highly developed organizational, time management and communication skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.
About you: Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Able to read, understand, and possess High School graduate level math skills
Able to handle multiple tasks
Use proper safety equipment and safety procedures
Detail-oriented and able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
Able to problem solve and use initiative to adapt / change processes to improve operational performance
Requirements
Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs, Â be 21+ year or older
Ideal schedule is Open Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $28 per hr DOE
