The Area Manager holds a senior leadership role within Star Staffing. The main responsibility of the Area Manager is to ensure that the day to day operations of the company are consistent with the mission, vision and core values of the company while generating a profit. The Area Manager is not only responsible for their own success, but has responsibility for the success of the managers and each branch. Must also have strong organizational and communication skills. Responsible for developing sound policies and procedures, training programs technology and reports that are intended to document whether managers and branches are successful. The Area Manager will be expected to make recommendations about what improvements and changes that can be made. The Area Manager is under the direction of the CEO & VP.


Development of current and new management positions

  • Work closely with managers to assist in the day to day operations

  • Support the growth and development of management skills

  • Foster independence within the managers

  • Translate strategic and business plans into human resource strategic and operational plans.

  • Enforce and provide reports on key metrics

  • Promote team enthusiasm and actively participate in building a positive work environment.

  • Maximize process efficiencies and minimize quality and complaint issues

  • Ensure that continuing education is provided to all staff

Development and Enforcement of Policies and Procedures

  • Participate as a key member of the Executive Team in developing the business and strategic plans and programs

  • Refine and improve Best Practices

  • Develop, implement, and monitor employment policies and practices including training program

  • Identify, recommend, and implement business process solutions.

  • Ensures the established standards for the practices and monitors quality of service.

Client Satisfaction

  • Ensure that all branch staff are fulfilling clients needs at a superior level of customer service

  • Assist with escalated client issues

  • Provide leadership for key accounts


  • Work with existing technology to ensure staff is using the resources correctly

  • Work in conjunction with team members to ensure all appropriate data is managed and stored to ensure legal compliance in addition to providing information for further business development and candidate management- review weekly


  • Pursue industry knowledge in order to participate in managed growth of Star Staffing

  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Report issues to senior management.

  • Manage required projects


  • Minimum 5 years management experience within the staffing industry required

  • 4 year college degree preferred

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
