Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility to start earlier if needed)
$22/hour

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our client’s team in Fairfield, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting experience who is proficient in data entry, numbers, and Navision software. The role begins as a temporary position, with the potential to become a temp-to-hire for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software (Navision experience preferred)
- File receipts, invoices, and other financial documents
- Organize and maintain paper and digital financial records
- Process invoices and bills
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payments and cash transactions
- Assist accountants with administrative tasks
- Organize office mail and provide general clerical support
- Perform data entry and maintain financial filing systems
- Track company credit card charges and other expenses
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software (Navision experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
