            <description><![CDATA[This position is responsible for contacting prospective customers with transportation spend of $30 million and above. This includes meeting with executive decision makers to discuss the DCS service offerings. This position is the primary owner of the account(s) to which it is aligned, and focuses on defining the opportunity strategy to sell to the customer. With 5 years experience is required selling dedicated solutions.<br>
<strong>Remote near Charlotte, NC (25% office/client visits)</strong>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>

<p>&bull; Conduct lead generation activities for new and incremental business, including cold calling, networking and other opportunity prospecting methods.</p>

<p>&bull; Meet with customers and prospective customers to discuss viable opportunities in an effort to understand their business needs, identify scope, submit a proposal, finalize the contract and win the business.</p>

<p>&bull; Coordinate with internal teams and the customer to implement the customer's solution, including participation in kick-off.</p>

<p>&bull; Perform various activities related to Opportunity Management and monitoring the health of the account which includes, but is not limited to, Customer KPI review, revenue quality monitoring, watching for additional opportunities, contract and pay terms review to ensure adherence to agreement.</p>

<p>&bull; Visit prospective and existing customers at their corporate headquarters or other sites as needed. Requires ability to travel to customer sites&nbsp;to meet customer needs.<br>

The <strong>Business Development Manager (BDM) </strong>is a top performing B2B sales leader who is passionate about making connections with people and driving new client relationships to drive exponential revenue. The BDM is a proven result-oriented sales leader and resourceful problem- solver motivated by growth and impacting business results.&nbsp;This role requires a high degree of &ldquo;selling&rdquo;, whether of ideas and policies within the organization, and services in the marketplace.&nbsp;<br>
<br>
<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Drive revenue growth through individual sales efforts, pipeline management, and performance metrics
&#9;<li>Prospect, promote, and sell services to new clients using cold calling and virtual outreach
&#9;<li>Identify, develop, and nurture emerging markets, strategic prospects, and assigned accounts
&#9;<li>Maintain a consistent and accurate sales pipeline and forecast against revenue goals
&#9;<li>Prepare and deliver sales presentations that clearly communicate Starâs value and solutions
&#9;<li>Partner with company executives to align team capabilities and drive profitable client outcomes
&#9;<li>Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to support brand growth and customer retention
&#9;<li>Build strong, long-term client relationships by understanding business needs and delivering impact
&#9;<li>Serve as a trusted advisor and primary escalation point for assigned accounts
&#9;<li>Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand account penetration
&#9;<li>Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, client metrics, and revenue progress
</ul>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>2+ Years proven Sales Experience
&#9;<li>Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
&#9;<li>Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics
&#9;<li>strong negotiation/communication
&#9;<li>Self-confident, extroverted style that can enliven, engage and positively impact individuals and groups
&#9;<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite&nbsp;
&#9;<li>Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) a plus
