Job Description
Star Staffing is seeking a motivated and energetic Electrical Technician to join the technical team for stable and innovative local manufacturer. This is a Direct Hire position.
$25.00-$35.00 hr DOE
Position Overview
This position involves assembling, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining electrical equipment and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, contactors, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components.
- Modify electrical prototypes under the guidance of an Electrical Engineer or Department Manager.
- Diagnose electrical or mechanical malfunctions and perform corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Follow wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications and expansions.
- Perform routine installation and maintenance duties.
- Record periodic electrical testing and recommend modifications or equipment replacements when needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Two-year degree or trade school equivalent.
- Experience: Four years of relevant job experience.
- Must be reliable and a strong team player.
