SUMMARY:
Star Staffing is currently recruiting for a seasonal Weighmaster whose primary responsibilities involve the accurate weighing of all truckloads of bulk wine, juice and various inbound materials used in the winemaking process during the harvest season. The weigh master will process all the weigh tags and ensure they are accurately entered into the database, and deliver the information to the Cellar and Winemaking Team. The Weigh Master will also manage the logistics of traffic flow at the weigh station and the driveway.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Completes all paperwork in a clear, legible manner.
Performs accurate and timely weighing in and out of trucks.
Provides an accurate, legal weigh tag and collect supporting documents for every load of juice or bulk wine
Opens scales
Processes weigh tags.
Calculates net weight by subtracting the tare weight from the gross weight.
Enters weigh tags into the computer terminal including correction of discrepancies.
Participates in the filing of all Scale paperwork.
Closes out the Scales
Communicates with coworkers, delivery drivers and winery team in a professional manner to maintain the highest level of efficiency, quality and safety in all winery operations.
Maintains adequate housekeeping in work areas and cleans up after completion of the job and at the end of the shift.
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
Assist in all phases of harvest related activities when needed, such as; Sanitation, Barrel washing, Wine Transfer, Pumpovers, rack and blending, filling, toppings, Chemical additions to wine and juice.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent in math, 10 key, data entry, and auditing skills.
Excellent English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a team environment.
Required to work a seven (7) day workweek, eight to twelve (8-12) hours per day as needs dictate
