Seasonal Outdoor Machine Operator
Salida, CA
2-4 Month Assignment
Start in August
Must have a valid Drivers License and clean Motor Vehicle report. 
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Swing Shift 2:30pm-11pm/Must be available weekends.

• Operates and monitors a variety of machinery (forklifts, scales, bar-coding equipment, etc.) while receiving growers product into the plant from various outside locations.
• Performs a variety of operations including sampling, weighing, scanning and labeling of incoming product as to variety and quality, ensuring no mixing of varieties/quality.
• Coordinates the flow of product to correct storage locations, logging details onto warehouse logs and bin logs.

• Maintains cleanliness of designated work area as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and performing all duties within proper safety procedures.
• Requires excellent communication skills to work with others within the department to coordinate incoming deliveries
• Dexterity required working with moving machinery. Must be able to lift min. 50 lb. Cleaning pits and working in non-permitted confined spaces and working on catwalks above 8’.

• Excellent communication skills and a basic understanding of machine operations.

• Required to climb up and down ladders and catwalks.
• Must be able to identify and solve problems independently, coordinate workflow and meet output standards.
• Required to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
