Healdsburg, CA
Pay Range $54,000 – $75,000 annually D.O.E
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift with flexibility for Swing Shift during peak times (especially harvest); some overtime required

We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-respected winery in Healdsburg, CA. This full-time role is a great opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to play an essential part in keeping production and facility operations running smoothly. About the Role:
The Maintenance Mechanic supports winery operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems across the facility. This role works primarily on the day shift but requires flexibility to cover swing shifts as needed, especially during the harvest season, and may include occasional overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and service winery production and facility equipment, including mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and respond quickly to breakdowns or urgent repair needs.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform hands-on repairs involving motors, conveyors, bottling lines, and more.
  • Handle routine mechanical tasks including plumbing, welding, HVAC, carpentry, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Perform bottling line setups, changeovers, and calibrations to reduce production downtime.
  • Keep maintenance logs and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Use tools and machinery safely to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to guide maintenance activities.
  • Help with general facility upkeep and occasional movement of equipment or furniture.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Vocational or trade school training in mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or 4 years of related mechanical experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with mechanical systems.
  • Comfortable with working around electrical systems up to 480V (experience preferred, not required).
  • Basic math skills and the ability to interpret technical documents.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including swing shifts and occasional overtime.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, state/federal standards).
  • Experience with PLCs or automation systems is a bonus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to equipment noise, chemicals, varying temperatures, and weather.
  • Must be comfortable working around machinery and in a fast-paced production setting.
